Pedro e Inês Bridge
LeisureVisit: ~30 min
Pedestrian and cycle footbridge over the Mondego river, opened in 2007, joining the two banks of the Parque Verde. Its steel-arch design makes it recognisable and offers good views of the river and the university Alta. It takes its name from the lovers Pedro and Inês, a key figure in the history and legend of Coimbra.
