Plaza de Tempelhof que se abre ante la fachada curva del antiguo aeropuerto. En el centro se alza el monumento al Puente Aéreo, inaugurado en 1951 y obra de Eduard Ludwig, conocido por los berlineses como «Hungerharke» (el rastrillo del hambre). Recuerda el abastecimiento aéreo de Berlín Occidental de 1948 y 1949 y a quienes murieron en él.
