Sufi shrine of the saint Nizamuddin Auliya, who died in 1325, in the Nizamuddin neighbourhood, near Humayun's Tomb. The poet Amir Khusro, his disciple, is also buried in the surroundings. You get there along alleys with stalls selling roses, sweets and offerings. On Thursdays at dusk, after sunset, the qawwali is held, a Sufi devotional singing with harmoniums and percussion. You must cover your head and take off your shoes.
