The Great Mosque of Paris occupies one hectare in the Latin Quarter, with a 33-metre minaret and North African-style gardens covering 3,500 square metres. Visitors can explore its prayer halls, the outdoor garden, the library, the Qur'anic school and the conference room, as well as take guided tours. The complex includes the traditional restaurant Aux Portes de l'Orient, serving Maghrebi cuisine such as tagine and couscous, a tea room with mint tea, Turkish delight and water pipes, and a marble hammam with Arab baths. There are also shops selling traditional Arab crafts and a gift shop within the complex.
