Nueva Condomina Stadium
The Nueva Condomina Stadium, currently known as the Enrique Roca Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a multipurpose venue opened in 2006. With capacity for 31,448 spectators, it is the largest stadium in the Region of Murcia and the sixteenth largest in Spain. It is the regular home of Real Murcia C.F., who played their first match there on 26 November 2006 against Real Valladolid. The stadium was officially opened on 11 October 2006 with a friendly match between the national teams of Spain and Argentina. The senior Spanish national team has played five matches at this venue, against Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland, Colombia and Denmark. Next to the stadium is the Nueva Condomina Shopping Centre. Murcia is among the possible candidate cities to host the 2030 World Cup.
