Basilica of Santa Sabina (Aventine)

An early Christian basilica on the Aventine, built in the 5th century (around 422–432) and preserved almost intact since then. The nave has a colonnade of Corinthian marble columns and selenite windows. The carved cypress-wood door is original, from the 5th century. Today it is the seat of the Dominican order and is a few minutes from the Orange Garden.
