Fragmentos
CultureVisit: ~45 min
Counter-monument by the Colombian artist Doris Salcedo, opened in 2018 in La Candelaria. The floor of the hall is made of plates cast from weapons surrendered by the FARC guerrillas after the peace agreement. The marks on the metal were made by women victims of sexual violence in the conflict, who struck the plates with hammers. It is a space for memory and mourning, not a conventional museum.
