Klovićevi Dvori Gallery
Klovićevi dvori occupies a former Jesuit monastery in Zagreb's Upper Town, on Jezuitski trg, next to St Catherine's Church. Its construction began in the 17th century and a fire damaged it soon afterwards; it was later restored and remodelled. Between 1974 and 1983 it was adapted as an exhibition space, at first called Muzejski prostor. It is named after the Croatian Renaissance miniaturist Juraj Julije Klović. It has four floors of rooms and its exhibitions are always temporary. The current entrance is a High Baroque portal dated 1783-84; on the west façade there is also a Renaissance stone portal. The courtyards and the façade have decorative stone details, and the atrium is also used for events.
