A Florentine Romanesque basilica from the 11th century, on a hill south of the Arno, next to Piazzale Michelangelo. Its white and green marble façade is an example of Tuscan Romanesque, with a golden mosaic at the top. The interior has a floor inlaid with marble and an apse with a Byzantine mosaic. From the esplanade you can see the whole city.
