The Bois de Boulogne is an extensive public park in western Paris, where visitors can explore English-style landscaped gardens with lakes, waterfalls and winding paths among oaks and other tree species. Within the park are spaces such as the Château de Bagatelle, the Pré Catelan, the Jardin d'Acclimatation with its amusement park and animal reserve, as well as the Longchamp and Auteuil racecourses.
