Baroque church on Krakowskie Przedmieście, known above all because the heart of Frédéric Chopin rests in one of its pillars, brought from Paris after his death in 1849. During the Second World War the heart was taken to safety and returned to the church in 1945. It is an essential place in Warsaw's musical memory.
