Historic cemetery of Gibraltar, opened in the late 18th century outside the walls, next to the Southport Gates. It received two British officers who died after the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805 and victims of yellow fever epidemics. Today it is a small, quiet garden with 19th-century gravestones and memorials, one of the best-known places of remembrance in the city.
