Memorium Nuremberg Trials
The Memorium is an information and documentation centre on the upper floor of Nuremberg's Palace of Justice, at Bärenschanzstraße 72. Its permanent exhibition explains who the defendants were and their crimes, the Subsequent Nuremberg Trials of 1946 to 1949 and the effect of the trials on international criminal law. The heart of the visit is Courtroom 600, the setting of the trials, alongside a historical reference room and the multimedia installation 'Saal 600 Zeitreise', which shows the reconstructed courtroom. There is also an audio guide in the museum's free app and public guided tours. Courtroom 600 is no longer used for trials, but it may close for events, in which case the installation is not shown; the dates are on the official website.
