The Felipe Orlando Museum of Pre-Columbian Art displays a collection of around 750 pieces of pre-Columbian art, with notable pieces from Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru, as well as objects from Ecuador, the Antilles, Chile, Honduras, Panama, Colombia and El Salvador. Visitors can walk through rooms devoted to local archaeology, displaying materials found at sites such as the Cueva de los Botijos and the Cueva de la Zorrera, including Neolithic pottery, stone bracelets around 5,000 years old, and Roman-era remains such as mosaics and a sculpture of Diana the Huntress. The museum occupies two floors of a building designed to resemble a stately home, with eight rooms arranged along a corridor guiding visitors through the collections.
