The Museo Taurino de València opened on 25 July 1929 next to the bullring, on pasaje Doctor Serra, and belongs to the Provincial Council. Much of its collection comes from the bequest of the enthusiast Luis Moróder Peiró, made up of objects, documents and books, and from the collection of the picador José Bayard, Badila, which formed the basis of the first permanent exhibitions. The tour covers the evolution of Valencian bullfighting, the training of the bullfighter, the fighting bull, València's bullring and the ritual of the bullfight, with an audiovisual presentation and several showings a day. It also has a library specialising in bullfighting. The visit includes entry to the interior spaces of the bullring, as long as they are not in use for an event.
