Monastiraki Flea Market
LeisureVisit: ~60 min
This is the market district surrounding Monastiraki Square, at the foot of the Acropolis. Among shops selling souvenirs, leather, jewellery and clothing, on Sundays the flea market fills up with antiques, records, coins, military items and second-hand bric-a-brac, around Avissynias Square. It is one of the most traditional shopping spots in Athens, with views of the Acropolis from several corners.
