Arboretum Marbella is a conservation park for native species of Málaga province, created through permaculture. Visitors can walk through a conservation garden of native trees and shrubs, as well as an area dedicated to restoring cork oak woodland. The project includes 131 native species planted, and aims to educate people about the environment through workshops, classes and open days for children and adults. It is a few minutes' drive from central Marbella and its beaches.
