Tennōji Park
Tennōji Park is a large urban park in Osaka's Tennōji district, established in 1909 after the demolition of the buildings from the Fifth National Industrial Exposition. It contains a botanical garden, Tennōji Zoo (opened in 1919), the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts, a greenhouse, Keitakuen Garden and the Chausuyama burial mound. The Tenshiba area has restaurants, cafés, a fruit and vegetable market, a FamilyMart convenience store, futsal pitches and the Kintetsu Friendly Hostel Osaka-Tennoji Park. The park is open every day and can be reached from Tennoji Station (metro and JR) and Ebisucho/Dobutsuen-mae Station (metro).
