A concrete avenue on Marquês de Sapucaí, designed by Oscar Niemeyer and opened in 1984, where the samba schools parade during Rio's Carnival. It has stands on both sides and a large entrance arch. Outside Carnival you can walk it and learn about its history, the floats and the parade costumes.
