Togetsukyō Bridge

Wooden bridge over the Katsura River, in Arashiyama, and symbol of the district. Its name means "bridge crossing the moon". From it you can see the wooded hills on the opposite bank, which change colour with the seasons. It is crossed on foot and is a natural gateway to the bamboo grove and the temples of the area.
