Casa dos Bicos
CultureVisit: ~45 min
16th-century house commissioned by Brás de Albuquerque, son of the viceroy of India Afonso de Albuquerque, near the Tagus. Its façade covered in stones carved into diamond points stands out, from which it takes its name. Damaged by the 1755 earthquake, it was restored and today is the seat of the José Saramago Foundation, with exhibitions about the writer.
