The former Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, the work of Lluís Domènech i Montaner, built between 1902 and 1930. It is a complex of Modernista pavilions in brick and decorated ceramic, linked by underground galleries and surrounded by gardens. It was a hospital until 2009 and, together with the Palau de la Música Catalana, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. It stands at the end of Avinguda Gaudí, facing the Sagrada Família.
