The Invalides Bridge crosses the River Seine and connects the 7th and 8th arrondissements of Paris, forming part of the Banks of the Seine, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Crossing the bridge, visitors can see its four arches and piers decorated with allegorical sculptures: Victor Vilain's 'Victory of the Land' and Georges Diebolt's 'Victory of the Sea' on the newer piers, while the older piers display military trophies and imperial coats of arms.
