Golden Lane
CultureVisit: ~30 min
Zlatá ulička is a small lane within the grounds of Prague Castle, with tiny coloured houses built against the wall, constructed in the 16th century for the castle guards. Craftsmen and goldsmiths later lived here, hence its name. Franz Kafka spent some time in house number 22 between 1916 and 1917. Today the houses hold small exhibitions and shops.
