Pergamon Museum

The Pergamon Museum is a building on Museum Island, in the historic centre of Berlin, built between 1910 and 1930 in a stripped Classicist style, to a design by Alfred Messel and Ludwig Hoffmann. In 2018 a temporary exhibition space opened just outside Museum Island, a short distance from the museum, housing a panoramic image of the ancient city of Pergamon by Yadegar Asisi, a three-dimensional reconstruction of the Pergamon Altar, and parts of the altar itself, including the Telephos Frieze.
