Imperial villa built between 1882 and 1886 for Empress Elisabeth, Sissi, by the architect Carl von Hasenauer, within the Lainzer Tiergarten. It takes its name from a statue of Hermes and was a refuge from court protocol. Today it belongs to the Wien Museum and hosts exhibitions on the history of the city and of the empress.
