The Schönbrunn Palm House is a large iron-and-glass greenhouse in the grounds of Schönbrunn Palace, where visitors pass through three distinct climate zones: a cold house to the north, a temperate zone in the central pavilion, and a tropical house to the south, all linked by tunnel-like passages. Inside the greenhouse, around 4,500 plant species from around the world can be seen, including notable specimens such as an olive tree about 350 years old donated by Spain, a Wollemia considered a living fossil, and the central palm known as the 'Mirna palm'.
