A semi-detached house in the Woolton district, at 251 Menlove Avenue, where John Lennon lived with his Aunt Mimi from 1945 to 1963. It was here that he began playing the guitar and rehearsing with the first Quarrymen. The National Trust acquired it in 2002 and has restored it to its 1950s style. It can only be visited on an organised tour.
