An 18th-century fountain designed by Ventura Rodríguez depicting the goddess Cybele in a chariot drawn by two lions, Hippomenes and Atalanta. It is one of the symbols of Madrid and the spot where Real Madrid celebrates its titles. It stands at the junction of Paseo del Prado and Calle de Alcalá, surrounded by the Palacio de Cibeles, the Bank of Spain, the Palacio de Linares and the Palacio de Buenavista.
