An 85-metre steel lattice tower on top of Fourvière hill, built in the late 19th century. It recalls the Eiffel Tower, but it is a television and radio mast, not a viewing tower. It can be seen from almost the whole city and is instantly recognisable next to the Basilica of Fourvière.
