Grunewald Tower

The Grunewald Tower rises on the Karlsberg hill, in the Grunewald forest, on the banks of the River Havel. In its base, a vaulted hall houses a marble statue of Wilhelm I and four iron reliefs depicting Albrecht von Roon, Helmuth von Moltke, Otto von Bismarck and Prince Friedrich Karl of Prussia. A staircase of 204 steps leads to the upper platform, from where there is a panoramic view of the Havelland region and the Grunewald forest. The building also has a restaurant and an open-air beer garden.
