A carriage museum in Belém, with one of the most important collections of period coaches in the world. It brings together state carriages from the 16th to the 19th centuries, belonging to kings, nobles and ambassadors. Its current home is a modern building by the architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha, opened in 2015, next to the old royal riding school.
