Parque Lage
Park at the foot of Corcovado, in the Jardim Botânico district, with English-style gardens and Atlantic Forest jungle. In the centre is the 1920s little palace, built for the businessman Henrique Lage, with an inner courtyard with a swimming pool surrounded by arcades. Today it houses the School of Visual Arts and a café in the courtyard. It is famous for the photo of the courtyard looking upwards, with Christ the Redeemer peeking out above Corcovado. Trails to Corcovado start from the park.
