Telecommunications tower of about 326 metres, completed in 1980 in the Karoliniškės district. In January 1991 it was the scene of the Soviet assault in which fourteen civilians died; the street is now called Sausio 13-osios. It has an observation platform and a revolving restaurant, and at the base there is an exhibition about those events. It is the tallest building in Lithuania.
