Presidential Palace
Official seat of the President of the Republic of Lithuania, on Daukanto Square in the old town. The building has been an episcopal residence and the residence of the governor-general under Russian rule; Napoleon stayed here in 1812. Its neoclassical façade looks onto a wide square where the state flag flies and the guard of honour can be seen.
