Main square of Vilnius (Katedros aikštė), at the foot of Gediminas Hill and in front of the cathedral. It is the city's meeting point and the setting for public events. On the ground in front of the cathedral, a tile marked with the word “stebuklas” (“miracle”) marks the starting point of the 1989 Baltic Way human chain. There is a statue of Grand Duke Gediminas.
