CultureVisit: ~45 min
An Augustinian church at the northern end of Piazza del Popolo, next to the gate of the same name in the city walls. Rebuilt in the 15th century under Sixtus IV, it holds two jewels of Roman art: in the Cerasi Chapel, two canvases by Caravaggio (the Conversion of St Paul and the Crucifixion of St Peter), and the Chigi Chapel, designed by Raphael and with sculptures by Bernini.
