A Gothic bell tower next to Florence's cathedral, begun by Giotto in 1334 and finished after his death by Andrea Pisano and Francesco Talenti. It is about 85 metres tall and clad in white, green and pink marble. From its top terrace you get a close view of Brunelleschi's dome and the whole historic centre of the city.
