MAMBO, founded in 1963 by the art critic Marta Traba. Since 1979 it has occupied a building designed by the architect Rogelio Salmona, made of brick, with spaces that open up and cross one another. It holds a collection of modern and contemporary art by Colombian and Latin American artists and organises temporary exhibitions.
