The Valencian Library occupies the Hieronymite monastery of San Miguel de los Reyes, a Renaissance building begun in the 16th century at the initiative of the Duke of Calabria. The façade of the church, with its two towers, and the two-storey cloister are preserved. It is on Avenida de la Constitución, in the north of the city, outside the historic centre.
