Former silk market from the Nasrid period, in the centre of Granada, next to the cathedral and Calle Reyes Católicos. After a fire in the 19th century it was rebuilt with a layout of narrow, covered alleyways. Today it houses craft and souvenir shops with products such as marquetry, ceramics and textiles.
