Palace of the Grand Dukes
Reconstruction of the Lower Castle Palace, the residence of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania until its demolition in the early 19th century. After years of archaeological excavations, it was rebuilt between 2002 and 2018. Today it is a museum, with state rooms, art collections and a tour through the history of the Lithuanian state. It stands next to the cathedral, at the foot of Gediminas Hill.
