Basilica of Santissima Annunziata
A Servite basilica founded in 1250 and rebuilt from 1444 by Michelozzo, housing an image of the Annunciation venerated by Florentines. Its atrium, the Chiostrino dei Voti, preserves frescoes by Andrea del Sarto, Pontormo and Rosso Fiorentino. It stands on the square of the same name, opposite Brunelleschi's Ospedale degli Innocenti and with the equestrian statue of Ferdinando I de' Medici.
