Menara Gardens
NatureVisit: ~60 min
Gardens of Almohad origin, from the 12th century, with a large rectangular irrigation pool and a green-roofed pavilion from the 19th century on one of its sides. They are surrounded by an extensive olive grove and lie west of the medina, with the High Atlas range as a backdrop when the day is clear. The water arrives from the mountains through traditional underground channels. It is a place where families from Marrakesh come to stroll.
