Monumental Almohad gate from the 12th century, the main entrance to the old royal Kasbah of Marrakesh. It is built of bluish-grey and reddish stone, with a large horseshoe arch sheltered under a rectangular frame decorated with Kufic inscriptions and plant motifs. It gives access to the Kasbah district, where the mosque and the Saadian Tombs are located.
