A church of Vallombrosan origin on Piazza Santa Trinita, next to Via de' Tornabuoni and near the bridge of the same name. Its Mannerist façade is by Buontalenti, from 1593. Inside, the Sassetti Chapel holds Domenico Ghirlandaio's frescoes (1483-1486) on the life of St Francis and the Adoration of the Shepherds from the altarpiece.
