Church of the Santi Apostoli
CultureVisit: ~15 min
A Romanesque church on the small Piazza del Limbo, near the Lungarno, whose foundation tradition attributes to Charlemagne. It has a Renaissance portal and a glazed terracotta tabernacle from the Della Robbia school. It keeps the flints from the Holy Sepulchre that Pazzino de' Pazzi brought from Jerusalem and with which the Easter Scoppio del Carro is lit.
