Museum housed in the Casa Garcilaso, a 16th-century dwelling where Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, the mestizo chronicler born in Cusco, spent his childhood. Its rooms trace regional history from pre-Inca times to the Republic, with ceramics, textiles and paintings of the Cusco School. It is a few streets from the Plaza de Armas.
