Archaeological museum of the National University of San Antonio Abad, housed in the Casa del Almirante, a 17th-century colonial mansion near the Plaza de Armas. It brings together ceramics, textiles, metalwork, ceremonial keros and mummies of the Inca culture and earlier ones. It is a good introduction to Andean history before heading up to the ruins.
