Pre-Columbian Art Museum
CultureVisit: ~60 min
Museum opened in 2003 on Plaza de las Nazarenas, in the Casa Cabrera, a 16th-century colonial mansion built on Inca remains. Its pieces come from the collection of the Larco Museum in Lima and cover some three thousand years of pre-Hispanic art: ceramics, metalwork and jewellery from cultures such as the Moche, Nazca or Chimú. The presentation is careful and contemporary in style.
